Marian Hardy (1919-2009) was a community service activist the better part of her 89 years. Involved with Girl Scouts from the age of 11, Ms. Hardy devoted 54 to the organization. She became the first Executive Director of the Fort Worth and Tarrant County Girl Scout Council and held that position for 34 years: 1945-1979. In recognition of her years recruiting Girl Scout volunteers the Marian Hardy Services to Volunteers award was established in 1982. She served as Director of Administrative Serv...
